Christmas Concert & Rain...in Arizona?

On Thursday this week, we had a big Christmas Assembly at school that I played in. That night, we had our Christmas Concert with all the orchestras, chorus, and band. It was really fun, I always love when we do big stuff with the full symphony and the chorus singing. I took a picture of myself in my concert attire before the concert.

Then, on Friday, we had a HUGE rainstorm. We got a good inch of rain!! It started pouring at school. The whole junior parking lot was flooded, so that was fun and then my friends and I went to a park and played in all the water. Now, we couldn't take pictures, because it was raining...sorry!! But it was so fun and crazy! Then we went out to Little Ceasar's to eat dinner and got some Jamba Juice (we had a lot of coupons to spend haha). It was so awesome to have it just rain all day. It was still pouring cats and dogs when I went to bed at about midnight. And all day today it's been overcast and sprinkling. I love it when the weather is like this. Crazy that we were still up in the 90's last week!!

Now I need some advice....I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday after school and I have no idea how to cut it!! Here are some pictures of hairstyles I'd like to try...let me know which you like the most or if you have a different idea (don't get too many short hair ideas RaeAnn. Dad says he likes my hair longer, but I'm willing to lose 2 or 3 inches.)

Winter Formal Stress!!

So, I am getting ready for winter formal, it's a girl ask guy dance at my high school. Last weekend I was going to ask this kid to formal, so I called his mom and she was gonna help me ask and everything and then a half-hour before I was gonna go and ask, she calls me and tells me that something just got dropped at their house and he'd been asked. So, I was pretty bummed about that, but then this weekend my friend sent me a text that said "You can ask him, I think!! A girl from another school asked him I'm pretty sure." but then I'm thinking, how sure is pretty sure. So Ashely decides that we should leave right then and ask him so we drive to his house and we get there and his house has a gate that you have to buzz into. So we decide to call his mom, as we sit in the driveway, and then I realize that there is a light shining on my car. Oh, no worries, it's just his family trying to get into their driveway!! So, we pull out and zoom off, and then someone starts following us, from his house. It was horribly embarrassing! but, I'm really nervous about asking without Ashely here to help. It should be a great adventure, I'll keep you posted!! :)

Thanksgiving Weekend

So, for Thanksgiving we had a full house. Ashley, Nolan, Thomas, Ben, Kara, Ruth, and Judy Gail. Everyone came to the Bread Store to eat dinner on Tuesday night, so they got to see me hard at work. On Wednesday I went to Enchanted with some of my friends. It was super cheesy, but really funny. I loved it! The whole fam. went and played tennis (of course, we always do at Blodgett get-togethers) and raquetball. I totally beat Dad in a game of tennis! I was proud. :) Anyway, it was so fun to have the family here. I was really sad when we had to say our goodbyes. I was also so sad that RaeAnn couldn't be there. It just wasn't the same without her!!

My Week with Aimee

Also, while she was here, we had a weird fixation with cross-word puzzles. We tried to do the ones in the paper everyday, but couldn't really get it. Then we were looking through all my Orlando Bloom magazines that I've basically collected, and we found a cross-word puzzle!! So, of course we finished the whole thing and took pictures...

Homecoming Weekend!

Hey!! This weekend was homecoming weekend for Mountain View. On Friday night I went to the homecoming gave (we won!!) and it was probably the funnest/funniest game I've been to in my high school career. Afterwards, we went and ate pizza at my friend Stacey's house. Her mom makes the best pizza ever!! Then I was dropping people off and I got a flat tire!! It waws really embarrassing, but luckily I was just outside my guy friend's house and so he put on the spare for me and I went home. It's all fixed now although, no worries. Last night was homecoming. Sadly, I wasn't asked but instead I went to a "pitty party" with some of my girlfriends. We watched Drop Dead Gorgeous!! **That filth is better left to the sin cities. AKA Minneapolis, St. Paul!** It was super funny, and then we went to the park and took pictures on my friend's digital camera. I only have one of the pictures and it's on my phone, but I'm going to try and send it to my email and see if I can figure out how to put it on here.

Anyway, we were having so much fun in the park, and all these cars full of kids from our high school were driving by, going to their houses to change for their night activities, so we were trying to hide ourselves from view, and my friend said, "We have to think, What would Jack Bawyer do!!" haha. I enjoyed it!! Anyway, it was a really fun homecoming weekend, which was surprising since I didn't go to homecoming!

Just Starting Out

Hey!! Well, I guess that blogs are "the new thing." My sisters have told me that I just HAVE to have it!! haha. Well, nothing much going on in Arizona right about now. I'm just working on getting through my junior year! It's pretty tough stuff. I'm taking three AP classes, so that's pretty hard stuff, but I'm chugging along. Other than that, I am working at Whole Grain, it's a pretty relaxed job but I'm definitely gaining weight with all the yummy food we have. Haha. Umm, that's all that's going on now. But I'll keep this updated, hopefully!! : )
